We are an established, physician-led medical practice specializing in cosmetic surgery, hair restoration, and regenerative medicine, with offices in **New York City** and **Atlanta**. We are seeking a **meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper** to work **onsite** at one of our locations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations.

**Position Overview:**

The ideal candidate is highly organized, discreet, and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment. You will work directly with our leadership team to manage the day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance needs of the practice.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Maintain financial records including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts

- Process payroll and track employee expenses

- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close

- Prepare financial reports for management and accountants

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare finance regulations

- Maintain vendor relationships and track invoicing

**Requirements:**

- Minimum 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience (medical or healthcare setting strongly preferred)

- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel

- Strong understanding of accounting principles

- Highly organized with keen attention to detail

- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information

- Familiarity with payroll systems and insurance-related financials a plus
