CNC Press Brake Operator

Job Description

Unified Supply is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for forming sheet metal parts on our 250-ton press brake, ensuring precision and quality in every project. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate a 250-ton press brake to bend and form sheet metal components.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate part production.

Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.

Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.

Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to ensure production goals are met.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.

Strong understanding of sheet metal forming, bending, and tolerances.

Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.

Basic knowledge of SolidWorks or CAD software is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
