Description
As an Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the essential machinery that powers our greenhouse operations. You’ll work on a diverse fleet, ensuring everything is in peak condition to keep production running seamlessly. Your role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to the success of our growing business. Key Responsibilities: • Perform service and repairs on farm tractors, spray wagons, golf carts, forklifts, and other farm equipment to maintain optimal performance. • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with small diesel engines and 12-volt electrical systems. • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent equipment failures. • Utilize our work order app to efficiently track and complete maintenance tasks. • Ensure all repairs and maintenance follow safety protocols and operational standards. • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently. • Operate and obtain necessary certifications for machinery within the department and across the facility. • Other duties as assigned by management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in farm or industrial equipment maintenance Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience with standard hand tools and diagnostic equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy machinery Frequent standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting Ability to lift 50 lbs unaided and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.
