Occupational Therapist, PRN

Harrison County Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team!

The Staff Therapist evaluates and/or implements treatment programs for all referred patients.

The Staff Therapist contributes to the development and upgrading of treatment programs, protocols, and QA/PI monitors.

The Staff Therapist assists in the construct and maintenance of departmental/organizational goals/objectives.

Serve as the activity director for swing bed program.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited program (if pre-July 2006, exemptions may be made) Must have passed the entry level examination approved by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency/Occupational Therapy Committee Experience in using the American Occupational Therapy Standard of Practices SKILLS Computer operational skills Time management skills Self motivated and directed Multi-task capability Communication skills Analytical and problem solving skills Tact and diplomacy in dealing with others As an affiliate of Norton® Healthcare, we enjoy the best of both worlds - access to all the resources of the largest health system in Louisville, while retaining local ownership and leadership in daily operations.
