Job Description

Key Points:

Shift Details: Working a 4x10s schedule. 1pm-11pm and it will either be (Sunday - Wednesday) or (Wednesday - Saturday). This shift goes into effect after training.

Environment: A good portion of the work is at the physical layer – looking for candidates who have experience opening up PCs, and servers, replacing devices, and replacing parts.

Technical Certs: A+, Server +, Linux + and Network + certifications are nice to have but not required

Responsibilities:

Maintain hardware infrastructure for the latest cloud computing server technologies.

Quickly and accurately resolve server and network hardware issues through root cause analysis.

Utilize a solid understanding of computers, servers, network devices, and command-line diagnostics.

Requirements:

1+ year of Computer Hardware experience.

1+ years of Computer Networking experience.

1+ years of Linux Operating Systems experience.

All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs and or work in elevated locations.

Additional Skills:

Ability to communicate advanced technical information to individuals with varying technical knowledge.

Good situational awareness.

Ability to operate solo or as part of a team with varying degrees of supervision.

Ability to operate in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.

Handle multiple critical priorities simultaneously.

Some work will be performed in a cloud region. Access to the region will be restricted to individuals who are U.S. Citizens.
