We emphasize skill variety, task significant, autonomy, and continuous professional growth, ensuring your role is not just a job, but an impactful career opportunity.nPosition Responsibilities:nSystems Engineering (40%)nnCommunicate and collaborate with program and systems engineers, internally and externally, to accomplish technical programmatic, and internal objectives for optical communication applications.nDevelop plans to successfully deliver space qualified hardware for space vehicle programs.nPerform all the necessary system engineering activities to develop, maintain, and evolve OCT products.nSupport comprehensive analyses, trade studies, and simulations to influence design decisions and optimize system performance.nApply modelling tools (MATLAB, Simulink) to predict system behavior and validated theoretical designs.nnRequirements & Integration (25%)nnClearly define, manage, and trace system requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.nCoordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams for system integration, validation, and verificationnnProcess & Internal Support (20%):nnSupport evaluation of new business opportunities by conducting feasibility studies, performing technical assessments, and contributing analytical insights.nDrive process improvement initiatives, enhancing internal documentation, methodologies, and team collaboration.nSupport internal knowledge management to ensure efficiency and consistency across engineering practices.nnRisk Management (15%)nnIdentify potential system risks, asses their impact, and proactively propose and implement mitigation strategies.nEngage in continuous monitoring of technical health to anticipate and resolve technical challenges.nnQualified Experience / Skills / Training:nMinimum Qualifications:nnBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.n2-5 years relevant system engineering or integration experience, ideally in aerospace or defense environments.
nSpace-related engineering experience pertaining to the development of spacecraft electronics and the definition, development, and delivery of space qualified hardware.
nStrong proficiency with modeling/simulation tools.
(MATLAB, Simulink)nExcellent analytical problem-solving, and clear communication skills.nCollaborative team orientation, capable of effectively working in remote and multi-disciplinary teams.
