Job Description

SECOND SHIFT POSITIONS PAY $1.00 MORE

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Use CAD models or drawings to setup and create CNC programs for 3, 4, & 5 axis machines using Autodesk Fusion or Mastercam

Use proper methodology and cutting tools to produce quality parts that adhere to production and quality standards

Use proper feed, speed, and other cutting parameters based on workpiece matls such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, ect…

Design and programming of tooling for machining and checking machined parts

Create detailed setup sheets based on current shop practice

Revise programs as needed based on engineering or production required changes

Participate in troubleshooting on CNC programming related and production related issues on the shop floor

Other similar or related duties as required

Education and Experience

3 years experience cnc machine operation 4 and 5 axis preferred

3 years experience FULL TIME CNC programming of 4 and 5 axis machines with Catia V5 and or Mastercam X4 or above

General knowledge of G Code

General knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection tool usage

General computer and Microsoft office skillsCompany Description
