Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team and provide top-notch support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have an active NJ P&C insurance license, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. You will assist clients with policy inquiries, coverage options, renewal and endorsement processing, claims assistance and reporting, and general customer service needs.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with policy changes, billing inquiries, and coverage questions.

Educate clients on insurance products and recommend suitable coverage options.

Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Process claims, endorsements, and renewals efficiently.

Maintain accurate client records in the system.

Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Stay updated on industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Active New Jersey Insurance License (Property & Casualty).

Previous experience in customer service or insurance-related roles.

Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The agency moved to its current location at 46 Washington Street in 1945 as Glenn K. Coutts took over the insurance agency operations, and Robert, Jr. and Clive Coutts took over the real estate operations.

The third generation of the family, Glenn K. Coutts Jr. and Linda Coutts Snyder joined the insurance agency in 1981. The agency continues to be owned and operated by Glenn Coutts Jr. and Linda Coutts Snyder.
