We're looking for a temporary SharePoint Specialist to support a key internal project focused on the assessment, restructuring, and optimization of our SharePoint Online environment. You'll be responsible for conducting a thorough assessment of our current SharePoint Online sites and leading the design of an improved site architecture — with a particular focus on security, permissions models, and user experience. This is a hands-on role, requiring both technical administration and strategic design thinking.

Role responsibilities:

Assess the current structure, usage, and governance of SharePoint Online sites.

Identify issues, inefficiencies, and risks — especially around permissions and security.

Redesign site architecture and permissions models for improved scalability and usability.

Lead or support site migrations, consolidations, and restructures as needed.

Collaborate with internal teams to align SharePoint structure with business needs.

Provide recommendations and a roadmap for long-term SharePoint governance and best practices.

Skills required:

Proven experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online architecture, design, and administration.

Deep understanding of permissions/ security models in SharePoint.

Experience with site migration, site consolidation, and content optimization.

Ability to bridge the gap between SharePoint admin troubleshooting and site design — not just fix issues, but rethink and rework the platform for future use.

Strong communication skills and a proactive, consultative mindset.
