Type of Engagement: 6-month contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Hybrid position located in Tempe, AZ
Candidates must reside in the greater Phoenix, AZ area.
Key Deliverables:
Manage the process to assess current operational systems including but not limited to SCADA systems, IoT devices, maintenance management systems, and cybersecurity measures.
Provide project management services for the following areas: Technology Inventory Assessment, Performance Evaluation of current operational technologies, Evaluation of Operational Support Models, Industry Assessments, and future strategy planning, stakeholder management, and organizing workshops. Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 15 years overall experience in IT/business professional environments
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT software/hardware/development/infrastructure environments
Minimum of 7 years of leadership responsibilities
Completion of a Bachelorâ s Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment. Prefer degrees in computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration, or related field. Masterâ s degree or MBA is a plus.
Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.
Development of sourcing opportunities; experience in RFP process and contract review.
Knowledge of information technology (IT) disciplines, functions, and processes. Big Bonus Points if you have:
Ten or more years of professional experience in IT.
Experience working in utilities.
IT consulting, project experience, and applicable certifications. Examples of related certifications are:
Project Management Institute (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, ACP, DAC, etc.)
Prince2 (Prince2 Practitioner or Prince2 Agile)
Scrum Alliance (CAL, CSP, CSM, CSPO)
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe â SA or SAFe â SPC)
Kanban (KCP, AKT, TKP, Kanban-EXP)

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Build, lead, and direct a team of trusted leaders with the skills, tools, knowledge, and experience to deliver small and large technology-related initiatives that benefit the business, and who take personal accountability for results.
Develop and provide a framework specific to our client that defines required deliverables, templates, and systems to be utilized while performing project management work, and that also provides flexibility for the initiative and creativity of the individual.
Provide transparency to executive management and stakeholders regarding projects, including a central repository of information regarding project objectives, participants, and status.
Encourage the use of project management approaches for delivery of work across the enterprise by providing guidance and tools for other leaders outside the IT PMO.
Collaborate and support other functions and departments within IT and client and work to build positive relationships across the enterprise.
Establish a reputation across client that the IT PMO is the go-to organization for engaging project leaders who get things done.
Work strategically across the organization to prepare for future project management needs and alignment with long-term client objectives and plans. Anticipate needs and evaluate cross-project dependencies based on available information.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $85.00 - $95.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
