Forklift OperatorSummary:
The Forklift Operator visually inspects, inventories, and maintains the condition of all equipment to and from the facility. The Auxiliary Equipment Coordinator is responsible for recording certification, coordinating storage and maintenance of rigging at the facility as well as shipment of rigging to and from the yard
Job Duties:
Primary Duties:
Forklift Operator will coordinate physical storage & maintenance of rigging
Forklift Operator will coordinate shipment of rigging in and out of yard
Forklift Operator will clear load list of out of project (check-in equipment)
Rigging inventory and physical storage
Check shipping with load list and make notes of discrepancies
Ensure all rigging material is maintained in functional and operational order
Ensure all required entries are made in SAP in accordance with company standards. Maintain accurate reporting of rigging inventory in system.
Accurately determine discrepancies in load lists.
Qualifications:
Must be able to understand and apply established procedures
Must be able to identify equipment correctly and capable of recognizing basic structural damage to equipment
Must have knowledge of basic rigging practices & procedures
Must have knowledge of rigging to ensure equipment is properly tagged
Must have good communication skills
Must be able to operate forklift
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
Related experience
Ability to work overtime as needed

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple step instructions
Ability to multitask
Ability to pay attention to surroundings
Basic math skills

Environment:
