Job Description
Our client, a luxury jewelry brand focused on sustainability, is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee the brand’s Artist in Residence installation at Hotel Jerome in Aspen from June through September 2025. This role requires a leader with high-end retail sales experience, strong client relationship management skills, and the ability to drive revenue while maintaining the exclusivity and prestige of the brand.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing daily sales operations, engaging with luxury clientele, and overseeing a team of two contract sales associates. They must develop a deep understanding of the brand, collections, and storytelling to create an immersive, personalized shopping experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Sales Leadership & Client Engagement
Serve as the primary sales leader for the Artist in Residence installation, driving revenue and ensuring exceptional client service.
Cultivate relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing personalized shopping experiences and concierge-level service.
Leverage strategies to enhance customer retention and repeat business.
Oversee merchandising and product presentation, ensuring displays align with the brand’s luxury aesthetic and brand identity.
Team Management
Lead, train, and oversee a team of two contract sales associates.
Set and monitor sales goals, coaching associates to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Maintain team engagement and motivation, ensuring alignment with the brand's service standards and expectations.
Operations & Reporting
Oversee daily sales floor operations, ensuring smooth execution of all retail activities.
Track sales performance, client engagement, and inventory insights, providing regular reports to brand leadership.
Ensure adherence to brand standards, luxury service protocols, and company policies.
Brand Representation & Storytelling
Develop a deep understanding of the brand's collections, craftsmanship, and brand ethos.
Act as a brand ambassador, engaging with Aspen’s luxury market and exclusive clientele.
Support VIP events and activations, enhancing brand visibility within the Aspen luxury community.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct oversight of two contract sales associates.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Requirements:
8+ years of luxury retail experience in jewelry, fashion, art, or high-end goods.
Previous leadership or sales management experience, preferably in a high-touch retail environment.
Strong background in sales, relationship management, and luxury service delivery.
Proficiency with POS systems, CRM tools, and sales reporting.
Ability to commit to residing in Aspen for the full duration of the contract (June – September 2025)
