Chemical Program Manager

Our client is a global leader in the production of mineral based products. They have facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia. They are looking to add an Program Manager to their facility near Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, focusing on capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives. NOTE: While this position holds the title of Manager, this person does not have direct reports - this is managing capital projects and continuous improvement projects.

*A Chemical Engineering degree is strongly preferred - may consider other engineering degrees *

As the Chemical Program Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop and coordinate engineering policies and procedures

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures

Be a part of capital and maintenance projects

Recommend, development, and manage continuous improvement plans

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 + yearly bonus

As the Program Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

BS in Chemical Engineering but may consider other relevant engineering degrees

4+ years of in-plant manufacturing experience; chemicals preferred

Previous experience managing capital projects

Familiarity with Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing; Black Belt is ideal but will consider those without
