The role of the physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist is key in the growth and quality of care a patient receives. You will work collaboratively with the primary care physicians, advanced practice clinicians, physical and occupational therapists to enhance each patient's stay, by setting realistic goals to help patients return to their prior level of function and get back to living their best quality of life.
This facility is a 46-bed inpatient rehab facility specializing in bariatric, pulmonary, neurological, stroke, orthopedic, and spinal cord rehab.
Role Overview
Flexible, full-time 5 day/week schedule
Inpatient rehab facility setting
On-call during the day Monday through Friday
What You'll Do
Conduct consultation visits on high complexity acute rehab patients
Diagnose patient conditions and implement appropriate treatment and care plans
Collaborate with APCs to deliver high quality rehabilitation care
Build and maintain productive, mutually beneficial relationships with our patients and facility partners
Who We Are Looking For
Board eligible/board certified PM&R physician physiatrist (preferred)
Board certified internal medicine (IM)/family medicine (FM) physician with acute rehabilitation experience
An active Pennsylvania license
This opportunity has great earning potential. Our compensation is a productivity-based model (Fee for Service). Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $192,000 to $230,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential. This full-time role is benefit eligible.
