Title: Omni Applications Developer, Java

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience in front-end development using Angular. Exposure to Azure Cloud services is preferred. Experience in Point of Sale (POS) systems is a strong plus. This role is perfect for someone who loves to perform hands-on work, eager to learn various modern technologies, and has excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate excels in hands on development and cross-functional communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, and maintain features for Java microservices and POS system.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.

Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality.

Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into our development process.

Participate in framework discussion and assist with building Proof of Concept (POC)

5+ Years of hands-on experience in Java JEE, design patterns, microservices

Work in an Agile environment, including attending release planning meetings, sprint planning meetings,

sprint retrospective and daily scrums.

Analyze project requirements and prepare high level technical documentation.

Develop micro services using spring boot and coordinate with all collaborating teams for functional and

technical requirements.

Design and develop a Restful APIs in the project as per the requirement along with handling

the security using Spring Security.

Involve in designing and developing the application using Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3.

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor, or App Insights.

Develop unit tests and integrated tests for the applications

Design and development web-application for business reporting and monitor systems using monitoring

tools like Datadog.

Experience with Bitbucket/ GitLab for version control and build tools like Maven/ Gradle.

Experience with RDBMS concepts on SQL /PostGres.

Experience with REST client / POSTMAN to check the response of various API's, Swagger UI as

a visual documentation for back-end implementation and client-side consumption.

Involve in development of commonly used angular components across teams such as directives for grid,

pagination, conditional validations.

Strong team player, ability to work independently and collaborate within team as well as other teams within

the company, ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, commitment towards learning.

Excellent communication, outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills.

Academic and/or work project experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Point of Sale experience preferred.
