We are currently hiring a Divisional Analyst in Boston, MA.

The divisional analyst is the supply chain contact for wholesalers, division directors, and region managers within his/her assigned division. The Divisional Analyst will proactively manage forecasts & inventory levels to support sales and brand initiatives within the division. In conjunction with the Customer Operations Manager, the Divisional Analyst will assist in creating a team that functions in a highly proactive and solutions-oriented manner to drive high levels of customer satisfaction. This individual will support operational process improvement to increase efficiency and enable the team to increase the level of support to customers.

*A hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance and be onsite according to their teams’ weekly schedules.

What You'll Brew:

Provide operational support for customers- answers to questions, solutions to problems

Build trust and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers to instill confidence in The Customer Operations Team. Establish relationships with customers and ensure satisfaction with response, response time, and any required follow-up associated with requests.

Collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs, translating those into accurate forecasts and inventory settings. Focus efforts on achieving customer satisfaction and supporting sales objectives.

Proactively identify issues through data analysis, respond with appropriate resolutions, and communicate with key stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Finance, Pricing, Brand, Planning, etc.) as needed to support the customer experience.

Complete ad-hoc training for customers on systems and processes, including Online Beer

Functionality

In conjunction with the Customer Operations Manager, coach and develop team specialists

Attend Division and Regional Sales Meetings

Experience

Experience supporting a sales team

Experience in a customer-facing role

Skills

Empathetic communicator, good listening, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks of varying importance and urgency

Ability to work independently, and make sound business decisions without having the “whole picture.”

Excellent verbal & written communication skills; influential and professional

Effective relationship manager; able to build relationships across teams

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP, PowerBI

Level: 7

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $59,500 and $106,600. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range depends on their related experience, skillset, and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
