Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Clifton, NJ

Salary: 75-85k (depending on relevant experience)

Job Overview

The Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing production processes pertaining to aluminum castings. The role will involve analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, implementing new technologies, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks and implement improvements.

Troubleshoot production issues related to machinery, equipment, or process flow.

Lead and manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion.

Design and develop new processes or modify existing ones to enhance manufacturing capabilities and improve quality.

Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to monitor performance, identify trends, and propose improvements.

Work with the quality control team to ensure that manufacturing processes meet industry standards.

Assist in the development of quality assurance procedures.

Ensure that all processes are compliant with local and international safety standards and environmental regulations.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the aluminum manufacturing or metals industry.

Strong understanding of process control and optimization in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in using process simulation software and other engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.).

Experience in the Aerospace industry preferred.
