Top aerospace company is looking for an IT Technician to join their team in Austin, TX.
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
Diagnosing hardware and software problems, and replacing defective components
Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
Performing equipment repair, builds cables, and replaces boards and components to identify or remedy failures
Performing routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records
Performing all functions required to prepare and install computers and related equipment, including connections to the data communications network
Assisting in preparation and installation of software and peripheral devices
Training people in computer system use
Operating other information technology related equipment such as scanners, printers, plotters, graphics equipment, etc.
Coordinating with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate purchases and repairs.
Performing desktop support as needed
Assisting in the administration of classified information systems and perform weekly audits
Running security scans and remediation on systems
Working closely with colleagues, and end-users to ensure the solution meets business requirements and is delivered in a timely manner.

Required Skills:
Associate's Degree in Information Systems. Equivalent experience to be considered for those without a degree.
1+ year of IT helpdesk experience
Self starter with outstanding communication skills
Windows/Linux/M365/MS Office Suite/VMware
Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance. US Citizenship is required

$25 - $30 per hour DOE
