Job Description

Focuses on assisting with the needs of the Account Managers to assure we are providing the best customer experience possible.

Maintain Confidentiality with all information provided.

Follows all safety rules and policies and report any safety issues.

Provide quality service, maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, exhibit professionalism and a strong work ethic.

Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and have strong organizational and communication skills.

Possess a thorough understanding of the terminals’ operating capabilities and processes.

Ability to adjust to changing operating conditions and work with a team.

Develop and maintain clear communications with each Account Manager and Vessel Manager to understand their needs, directions, and special requirements.

Enter Customer Releases, Inbounds, Uploads into TOS following Account Services Processes and customer specific requirements.

Ensure all inbounds and releases are entered in a timely fashion following First In First Out except for any HOT request.

Verify entered Customer and Account Data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.

Update Data Entry Log real time for all tasks completed throughout the day.

Assist Account Managers by reviewing Open Shipping Container Report and pulling documentation to close any open containers.

Assist Account Managers in closing open inbound orders.

Generate spreadsheet reports if needed.

Must be able to work weekly and weekend on call rotation.

Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
