As the Director of the Project Management Office (PMO), you will lead the strategic planning, execution, and governance of enterprise-wide projects and programs. You will establish and uphold project management best practices, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistent delivery, alignment with business goals, and measurable value realization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives, optimizing resource allocation, driving accountability, and enabling continuous improvement.
Lead and manage a team of project managers responsible for delivering complex hardware and software solutions for CenTraks market leading RTLS platforms.
Drive project management best practices, ensuring the consistent application of project management methodologies, tools and standards across the team.
Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to define project goals, objectives and deliverables aligned with business priorities.
Develop and execute end-to-end project plans, ensuring clear timelines, resource allocation, risk management strategies and change management processes are followed.
Proactively identify and resolve potential issues, mitigating risks and ensuring projects are executed successfully.
Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
Work with product management and engineering leadership to define and revise long-term strategy for the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive awareness and buy-in throughout the organization.
Deploy APD (Agile Program Development) best practices based on the SAFE Framework to drive efficiency for both hardware and software solutions.
Perform people management responsibilities, including hiring, developing, and implementing organizational structure, delivering performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical education.
12+ years of experience building and managing Engineering and/or Project Management teams
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g.,SAFE, Agile, Waterfall, Lean) and tools.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex hardware and software products.
Thorough understanding of software development processes and best practices, with experience in collaborating effectively with software teams.
Thorough understanding of the hardware development process including cost management, supply chain, prototyping, regulatory challenges, etc.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience growing organizations and project teams
Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with the experience in working effectively with cross-functional teams.
