Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Sheet Metal Fabricator for a company based in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for setting up and operating special purpose machines and machining centers to fabricate metal parts.

Pay Rate

$17/hr. plus depending on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 3 30 pm.

Sheet Metal Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components using a variety of hand tools and machinery

• Assemble metal components into finished products or structure, ensuring precise alignment and secure fittings

• Perform quality checks to verify that fabricated components meet design specifications and industry standards

• Operate equipment such as shears, brakes, and welders to produce and modify sheet metal parts

Sheet Metal Fabricator Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior metal fabrication preferred

• Basic math skills for measurement and calculations

• Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 50lbs.

• Reliable and punctual attendance is essential

• Roofing experience a plus!
