Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians

Olentangy Village Management is currently accepting applications for an experienced Maintenance Technician for our beautiful, historic property, located in the Clintonville/North Campus area.

We are looking for a strong individual who can take on the challenge of assisting in the maintaining of 610 apartments and commercial areas. You will be responsible for working with the 14 person maintenance team in the maintaining of the physical condition and appearance of the entire community including over 62 acres located in a park like setting.

Skills, Knowledge Requirements: General apartment maintenance experience, knowledge of appliance repair, light carpentry, plumbing and electrical knowledge, knowledge of safety procedures, safety conscious, steady and dependable, ability to work with pressure of deadlines, and ability to flex work schedule to accommodate after hour and weekend emergencies. HVAC experience is a requirement and experience working with boilers a plus!

Additional Skills required are:

Pass a basic maintenance, plumbing, electric and HVAC test

Excellent customer service

Previous experience in apartment maintenance or other related fields

Hands on maintenance skills and knowledge, HVAC a plus

Deadline and detail-oriented

Organized

Strong work ethic and sharp problem-solving skills

Able to multi-task -- you'll need it!

Excellent communication

Goal oriented

This is a full time hourly position with a competitive compensation package including, paid vacation, sick days and holidays. We also offer health insurance, disability, and an IRA match. We also have a generous bonus package in addition to your hourly wage.
