As a 310T Technician, you’ll perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Perform maintenance & repairs – Service diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.

Diagnose & troubleshoot issues – Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical problems.

Conduct inspections – Identify potential issues before they lead to costly repairs.

Follow manufacturer guidelines – Use service manuals and technical data for accurate repairs.

Communicate with customers – Explain necessary repairs and recommendations.

Work efficiently – Meet deadlines to minimize downtime for customers.

Stay current on training – Participate in company-sponsored and dealer-specific training courses.

Maintain a safe & organized workspace – Follow safety protocols and best practices.

What You Bring (Requirements & Qualifications)

310T Truck & Coach Technician License (Required)

1–3 years of experience as a heavy-duty truck technician (or equivalent industry experience)

Valid G-Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record

Must have necessary hand tools

Ability to read and follow technical instructions

Strong mechanical aptitude & problem-solving skills

Excellent communication & customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred Skills)

Experience with medium & heavy-duty trucks

Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment

Experience with fleet management software (e.g., Fleet Complete)

Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
