You will manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.

You will be accountable for the preparation of contract documents, warranties, bonds and licenses to achieve formal execution by appropriate parties.

You will manage costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities and client charges and present these to clients.

Demonstrable experience of delivering service excellence to clients.

Demonstrable experience in commercial management across a variety of sectors.

Sound understanding of costing and timescales.

Proven experience in areas such as risk management and change control management.

Proven experience of different types of contracts including the method of measurement.

Knowledge of BIM techniques and applications.

Digital comprehension.

Detailed knowledge in most forms of contracts.

Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction

Knowledge of contractual frameworks relating to construction.

Sound knowledge and ability to undertake and advise on contract administration and contract management.

Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction.

Capex V Opex Cost analysis/advice.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with key stakeholders.

Expert knowledge of industry best practice.

You’ll need to have:

Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).

Professional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS (or equivalent) and moving towards fellowship, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.

Extensive years of experience.

Strong experience in administering FIDIC forms of contract (i.e. acting as the engineer).

Strong experience in design & build (FIDIC yellow book).

Strong bidding and business development experience.

Strong commercial and financial acumen.

Sound knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction.

Management experience within large, diverse teams.

Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.

Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.

Experience in leisure projects.
