But we are About The Job The Communications Manager is expected to take ownership in sharing the Ninja Van story, products, and services to the target audience, and in building relationships with relevant stakeholders.
The Communications Manager will be in charge of all promotion and branding initiatives of Ninja Van.
Main Duties
Strategize, plan, and execute relevant communication activities to deliver high-level placements in print, online, broadcast, and new media channels
Leverage existing media relationships while cultivating new ones with industry and business media
Work closely with the department head, local and regional company leaders, and regional counterparts to ensure that the company speaks in one voice and ensure alignment in all external communications
Seek out, build, and cultivate relevant relationships with government, business associations, civil society groups, and other stakeholders that will be relevant to overall company objectives
Monitor and flag news, industry trends, and other relevant social, cultural, political, and economic developments that may affect business operations
Conduct daily news monitoring, maintaining keen understanding of industry tends and making appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy
Ensure compliance with all company policies regarding finance, procurement, operational, and other relevant processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, business administration, or related field
Strong and proven writing and oral communication skills
Proven experience in event and project management
Knowledgeable in doing influencer marketing, social media marketing, and stakeholder mapping
Expected to manage the Communication Team's budget (FTE, agency fees, events, suppliers, etc.)
Solid experience in both working with sales/account management teams and operations teams
Excellent verbal and written communication and a creative thinker
Proficient in Google suite and a good comfort level using enterprise software
