Description:

FIC America Corp. is a global Tier 1 automotive components manufacturer centrally located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. We are actively seeking a Stamping Team Leader to supervise and coordinate the production, welding, and activities under the direction of the Supervisor.

Essential Job Functions

Oversee activities of production and operating employees under the direction of the Supervisor

Plan and maintain work schedules, assignments, and production sequences

Direct and assign tasks and duties under the direction of the Supervisor

Train and develop team members to perform job duties according to company procedures and policies for safety and accuracy

Interpret work orders, specifications, and company policies and procedures for employees

Assist with and perform work activities as necessary to maintain work flow

Enforce safety and sanitation regulations

Evaluate performance and report them to Supervisors and Managers

Address reports from employees, and report them to Supervisors and Managers

Follow standard work instructions

Perform other duties as assigned

Other Job Functions

Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures

Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards

Perform 5-S activitiesRequirements:

2+ years of leadership experience

2 + years of experience within a stamping/press manufacturing operation

Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with position, Safety, Plant & PPE procedures & requirements

Must be willing to cross-train

Must be able to work company’s required overtime

Must comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality Policy

Pay Range $21/hour - $25/hour based on qualifications and experience

Additional Compensation We operate two shifts and 2nd Shift employees are given a $1/hour shift differential

Established in 1994 by Futaba Industrial Co., Ltd., we have been in Carol Stream, IL from the beginning and added an additional facility in Bloomingdale, IL. A Japanese owned manufacturer of stamped and welded products, supplying the automotive industry with performance auto parts, related to emissions, fuel, and exhaust.

Stamping Components - We utilize numerous stamping presses ranging from 150 tons to 2500 tons. This includes Blanking, Manual, and Transfer presses.
