OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Production Design Technician is responsible for generating drawings for factory production.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Associates Degree CAD Engineering.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Proficient in a CAD program and operating print machines.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous experience a plus.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Mathematics, detail-oriented, and time-management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Work closely with the Engineering Technicians and Drafters to prepare drawings in a timely manner.

Examine each drawing closely to ensure no errors have been made.

Process parts orders to ensure order is shipped expediently.

Assist installers with jobsite issues

Keep up to date with the latest refrigeration technology

Inform company personnel of manufacturing errors.
