Our client is looking for a Part-time bookkeeper to join their team. Duties include primarily to reconcile daily sales, process accounts, payments as well as handle general telephone and email inquiries as required.
Currently the hours have been Monday 9am – 2pm, Wednesday 9am – 2pm and Friday 9am – 2pm. This can be adapted to fit the right person.
Whilst a degree isn’t mandatory for this role, an understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills and software (Pastel) is required as well as:
Excellent attention to detail, ability to organise and prioritise tasks, problem solve, and ask questions when needing further clarification
The ability to work alone, as well as working as a team member
A proven commitment to providing good customer service
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and the Internet including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
The salary is negotiable and will be discussed in the interview.
