Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Silay City, Negros Occidental Work Arrangement: Onsite Salary Range: 70,000 – 80,000/month About the Role: We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client in a respected educational institution based in Silay City. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our financial processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting the institution's financial health. Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and statements.

Manage financial transactions including budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.

Monitor compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and institutional policies.

Manage internal controls and assist with audits and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.

Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff and support their professional development.

Utilize accounting systems effectively for reporting, documentation, and process improvement. Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Must have completed a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance Management or Accounting), Commerce, or other relevant fields

At least 1 year in a leadership role in accounting or finance

Proven experience as an Accounting Manage or Finance Manager, or similar position

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial management, and internal control procedures

Proficiency in using accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero, or equivalent)

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
