When it becomes operational in 2026, the plant will manufacture Edwards' surgical and transcatheter heart valve replacement technologies and will join a global network of more than 16,000 talented team members and five other production plants. Our new facility in Moncada will welcome up to 1,500 dedicated team members by 2029 across manufacturing, engineering, and several other professional career paths. Hiring for professional positions has started and will continue through the winter and early spring, with specialized training for manufacturing hires beginning in the fall of 2025.

The role:

Develops, implements, and sustains IT solutions to business problems to improve business processes, develop systems and policies, improve user proficiency, and promote system adoption in collaboration with key stakeholders.

How you will make an Impact:

Leads efforts to reengineer and optimize Manufacturing business processes and systems by assessing business needs and developing, proposing and implementing technology solution options. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in business processes in the area of responsibility.

Leads, identifies, designs, and implements information systems (e.g. ERP, MES) to meet business process requirements.

Leads and manages enhancements and small to medium sized projects.

Configures and tests systems (e.g. ERP, MES) to execute features, integration, and reporting.

What you will need:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field, 6 Years years experience related experience Required or

Master's Degree or equivalent in computer science or related field, 4 Years years experience related experience Required

What else we look for:

Strong ability to manage and deal with different cultures and nationalities

Experience working in complex, matrixed and global business environment

Strong documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

Organizational and project management skills with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

Possess and display sound analytical and logical problem solving skills; initiative; flexibility and detail-orientation

Substantial understanding and knowledge of enterprise information systems such as ERP (such as JDE, SAP etc), MES (such as CAMSTAR etc), SCADA (such as Aveva etc), LIMS (such as Labware etc), Calibration and Maintenance (such as Maximo etc) preferred

Strong experience in Manufacturing and Quality systems (ERP, MES, Labeling) implementation and support

Ability to provide mentorship to lower-level Business System Analysts

Ability to adapt to new technologies and to adapt to rapidly changing environment

Ability to map, troubleshoot, and optimize interfaces with multiple systems

Ability to proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (example: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt)

Working knowledge of Agile frameworks

Experience with FDA guidelines for Software Quality and Systems Validation preferred

Experience with Good Manufacturing/Good Documentation Practices (GxP) processes required

Prefer experience with FDA guidelines for Software Quality and Systems Validation is a plus

Competent in handling multiple tasks with attention to detail, and perform duties with minimal supervision

Experience with identifying, integrating, and managing SaaS solutions and external vendors

Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
