Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Clinical EHR Consultant to manage and support our myAvatar electronic health record (EHR) system within our expanding EHR division. This individual will ensure the system operates smoothly, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with system updates, integrations, and training users. As a myAvatar Systems Administrator, you will be the key contact for all system-related needs, providing technical expertise and ensuring the platform is secure and compliant with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration: Maintain and support the Netsmart myAvatar EHR system, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance with healthcare industry standards.

User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting system issues, resolving tickets, and offering training as needed.

System Configuration & Customization: Assist in the configuration and customization of the myAvatar platform to meet organizational needs, including managing workflows, forms, reports, and user access.

System Updates & Maintenance: Oversee regular updates, patches, and upgrades to the myAvatar system, coordinating downtime and ensuring all necessary backups and data protection measures are in place.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Monitor the system for performance issues, optimize resources, and ensure uptime and reliability.

Integration Support: Support integrations between myAvatar and other healthcare systems, including electronic billing, clinical systems, and third-party applications.

Data Integrity & Security: Ensure compliance with data security standards such as HIPAA, and work to maintain the integrity of patient and system data.

Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user guides. Generate system reports and logs as required.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal IT teams, clinicians, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the system aligns with operational requirements.

Training & Development: Conduct training for new users and provide ongoing education on system enhancements or changes. Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Information Systems, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience:

Proven experience as an EHR Manager, Systems Administrator or IT support professional in a healthcare setting.

Hands-on experience with Netsmart myAvatar.

Experience with Crystal Syntax, Basic Syntax, database management, and data integration technologies.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of healthcare information systems and software architecture.

Proficiency in server management, network troubleshooting, and security best practices.

Experience with software deployment, system configuration, and troubleshooting.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to train and support users effectively.

Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.

Familiarity with other Netsmart products or similar EHR platforms. INDSEA1
