Ventia is offering regular ongoing employment with the NSW Whole of Government Cleaning Contract for people who are looking to enter the Cleaning Industry.

We are looking for people who can work in the following sites:

Hunter River High School – 4.30am – 9am and 2pm – 5.30pm split shift

Irrawang High School – 4.30am – 9am and 2pm – 5.30pm split shift

About the role:

Provide high quality cleaning services to Public Schools, TAFE Colleges, and Government Buildings in your local area. Applicants will need reliable transport to and from work. You must be able to clear a national police background check along with a pre-employment medical and Working with Children Check.

Key Duties:

Cleaning and wiping of high touch points (handrails, door handles, desks, benches etc)

Mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms

Tidying external grounds, rubbish collection and leaf blowing

Maintenance of stock supplies and orders

Skills & Experience:

No experience necessary

Good communication and time management skills

An eye for detail and proactive approach

The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

To promote work-life balance, we offer the following shifts:

8-hour positions available for split shifts (5am - 9am and 2pm - 6pm, with view to permanency)

Early morning shift: 5am - 9am

Afternoon shift: 2pm - 6pm
