Configuration Engineer

We're looking for a Configuration Engineer who will play a pivotal role in the future of our company. The candidate will primarily be responsible for helping to configure our system to support our clients' business needs, including building pages, rules and workflows. The candidate will need to assess clients' requirements and formulate solutions using the LauraMac technology.

The candidate will interact with multiple stakeholders including clients, business analysts and the technology team to achieve success.

Responsibilities:

Key Requirements:

• Ensure that there is a clear understanding of the clients' requirements (internal or external)

• Define configuration changes that will support those requirements OR determine that the clients' needs cannot be met through system configuration

Solution Implementation:

• Build new pages, rules, workflows in the system to support client requirements

• Ensure that the configuration changes to not negatively impact other system functionality

• Test configuration changes

• Follow configuration SDLC to migrate changes through environments to production

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently

• Maintain configuration processes and documentation

Knowledge & Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with US customers effectively.

• Ability to configure highly technical system involving complex rules and workflows.

• Computer skills

o Required: expert level on Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

o Preferred: familiar with Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira)

• Attention to detail.

Experience:

• College degree or equivalent work experience

• Experience with software development or highly configurable software applications

• Experience with Java8 and SQL

• Mortgage experience with subject matter expertise preferred in any of the following areas:

o third party due diligence,

o secondary marketing / mortgage trading or correspondent operations

o servicing boarding

o document recognition and data extraction

Location:

• Remote.
