Leading Destination Management Company is looking for an experienced Reservations Manager to serve as a sales driver and main point for key accounts while leading and motivating the reservations team.
This is a hybrid role in Cape Town. Salary is negotiable on experience plus benefits.
Requirements:
• Experience leading a Reservations Team for at least 5 years for an inbound tour company/destination management company
• Excellent knowledge of Southern and East Africa
• MS Office, Tourplan and Wetu
Duties include:
• Maintain excellent customer/client relationships
• Deliver on and exceed sales targets as per business expectations
• Monitor the quoting and operational accuracy of the team
• Ensure operational excellence daily
• Monitor workload distribution
• Oversee quotation checks and conduct spot checks, as well as create cost and margin awareness
• Guide the team to achieve goals
• Build up and maintain a high level of motivation and team spirit
• Be approachable and supportive
• Demonstrate an understanding of the concepts cost, profit, net and gross selling prices
• Be aware of our competitors’ products
• Travel occasionally on educational and familiarization trips to Southern Africa, report back and provide training to the team
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and customer care
