One of our partners, a boutique architecture and interiors firm, is seeking a passionate and experienced Architect to join a creative and mission-driven team. This opportunity offers the chance to work with a collaborative group that values design excellence, innovation, and community impact.

In this role, you’ll lead meaningful projects from concept through completion, serving organizations that focus on bringing people together — including churches, theaters, educational institutions, and nonprofits. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal design teams, while also mentoring junior staff and playing an active role in the firm’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion.

Coordinate across internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.

Facilitate team meetings to support alignment and clear communication.

Oversee project quality to maintain high design and execution standards.

Develop and monitor project schedules and production budgets.

Conduct monthly site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure client satisfaction.

Mentor junior team members, encouraging professional growth and collaboration.

Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout all project phases.

Manage construction administration and provide on-site issue resolution.

Some travel required for client meetings and site visits.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

NCARB Certification (required).

Ability to obtain architectural licensure in Alabama.

Minimum 1-5 years of professional experience.

Strong proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling and detailing.

Experience in commercial, worship, non-profit, education, or community-based projects.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Independent, self-motivated, and collaborative.

High emotional intelligence, empathy, and integrity.
