Our client, a leader in the utilities industry, is looking to hire an IT Analyst. This role will be hybrid 3x per week in Columbus, OH.

As an IT Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, defining, and documenting business requirements and functional specifications for various IT projects and initiatives. You will also be analyzing and reporting progress on service incidents and requests, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving overall IT project efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in Infrastructure Services or Infrastructure Analysis, Deployment and Support
Knowledge of IT infrastructure components, ITIL processes and metrics, as well as trends and best practices
Strong experience in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
Excellent analytical abilities, including process analysis and development, problem solving and root cause analysis
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Strong teaming skills, collaboration, negotiation, communication, organizational, people management and conflict resolution skills
Experience working closely with service providers and delegating operational activities
Prior working knowledge of the gas and electric utility industry a plus!
What You Will Be Doing
Assess business impact of IT risks and issues, escalating them to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption
Measure and monitor performance, quality, and value of IT services and solutions, using metrics and KPIs
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, using presentations, reports, diagrams, and user stories.
Extract business requirement and model Business Processing and/or perform Value Stream Mapping
Lead, design and facilitate business engagements to establish scope, business needs, project objectives, outcomes and expectations on business processes
Participate in vendor reviews, discussion of products, contribute in the writing of RFIs and RFPs
