Company Description:

Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver). A third facility in Longmont, CO (a suburb of Denver) provides in-house repair and fabrication of tools & dies.

What you’ll do:

Advise the Supervisor/Manager if daily manpower is sufficient/insufficient

Will be a working team lead, and will be assigned to pick, scan, and load as needed

Verify accuracy on all shipments as directed and assist in troubleshooting orders

Ensure proper handling of product during dock, scan, load, unload, and put away processes per standards

Complete daily reports including but not limited to shift summary, production reports, and adjust and program machines

Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and flexibility in meeting deadlines

Be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and assist in physical inventory as needed

Other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Technical/mechanical background in Plastics Industry preferred

Basic computer skills

Demonstrated mechanical ability

Must be able to read English, count accurately, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, compute ratio, percentage and write legibly

Requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers and training classes

Have experience with the ability to operate injection molding machines, CNC machines, and Vac form machines

Ability to operate material handling equipment

Ability to cover all job functions at any time in the building

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagrammatic or schedule form

The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.
