Maintenance Specialist

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Monitors a variety of Maintenance Systems to insure proper operations.

Performs routine maintenance to Healthcare buildings and equipment, grounds keeping, and provides minor repairs, adjustments, resetting or troubleshooting of systems.

QUALIFICATIONS: * High School diploma or equivalent required.

* Building facilities maintenance background preferred.

* Valid Alaska driver's license required.

* Certified able to wear a respirator.

* Customer Service oriented focus.

* Ability to operate heavy equipment.

* Must maintain confidentiality including HIPAA/HITECH information.

* Certified for airport driving within first three months of employment.

* First Aid/CPR within first six months of employment.

* Possess current or obtain State of Alaska Provisional/level 1 water treatment certification within 1 year of hire.

* Possess current or successful completion of Class III Boiler licensure within the first year of employment.

* Completion of ICS 100, 200 within 90 days of hire.
