The Role
We are seeking a Federal Program Manager who can bridge the gap between exceptional project delivery and strategic business growth. This dynamic position requires someone who can lead complex client projects while identifying and capturing new business opportunities with federal government customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and business development, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery Management
Lead and manage complex client projects from inception to successful completion
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and client stakeholders
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and obstacles
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
Monitor project KPIs and provide regular status updates to all stakeholders
Support change management activities, including system migrations and risk mitigation strategies Business Development
Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts
Develop strategic proposals for expanded services and solutions
Collaborate with sales teams to qualify and pursue new business opportunities
Participate in client meetings and presentations to showcase capabilities
Convert project success stories into business development opportunities
Contribute to the growth of our Microsoft technology service offerings Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
5-7 years of experience in project/program management
3 - 5 years of experience in U.S. Federal Government
Proven track record of successful client relationship management
Demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities
Experience managing complex technology projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities
Must be located in the Washington DC Metro Area
Work Location: Hybrid (Rockville, MD up to 3 days per week)
