REIC, a fast-growing, elite general rental equipment company that operates in markets across the Northwest, is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Regional Service/Operations Manager to oversee 8 of our locations. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, primarily focused on ensuring the effective operation of service departments across these locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the operations of the service departments.

Train, lead, and monitor service expectations across teams.

Travel frequently (60% or more) to various locations to assist with general operations.

Manage the distribution of the fleet.

Dispatch field technicians and efficiently handle logistics.

Oversee the profit and loss (P&L) statements of the service departments.

Foster positive relationships with customers and employees.

Assist the regional Vice President in daily operations.

Review and analyze departmental data to meet sales and profit targets.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while monitoring all ongoing work.

Manage customer communication regarding equipment repairs as needed.

Process and review work orders, invoices, and customer quotes.

Acquire and coordinate purchase orders.

Ensure the fleet is maintained and repaired according to standards.

Promote safety and hold staff accountable to safety expectations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Be willing to manage staff, including hiring and firing.

Conduct service meetings with store managers.

Negotiate with vendors.

Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of three years' experience of service management is preferred.

Good mechanical aptitude.

Strong leadership skills are essential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Effective time management skills.

Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage others effectively.

High reasoning ability: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Capable of interpreting diverse instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Intermediate mathematical skills: Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Familiarity with basic algebra and geometry concepts.

Proficient in general computer applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Physical/Sensory Functions:

Regularly required to talk and hear.

Frequently required to stand, sit, use hands, and reach.

Occasionally required to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Lift and/or Move Functions:

Frequently lift up to 10 pounds

Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:

Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, in outdoor weather conditions, and with toxic or caustic chemicals. There may be risks of electrical shock and exposure to wet or humid conditions (non-weather-related).

Additional Requirements:

Must be willing to travel 60% of the time or more, covering Montana.

Be prepared to assist with general mechanical repairs at various locations.
