MOBILE MOTOR MECHANIC
Location: Winthrop, WA 6150 - Perth and surrounding.
Fulltime
Salary $90,000 to $100,000 plus compulsory superannuation
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mobile Motor Mechanic to service around Perth and surrounding areas.
• Organising and prioritising work instructions/job callouts in a timely manner.
• Organising and effectively carrying out mobile repair jobs,
• Inspecting vehicles for roadworthiness and detailing appropriate action to ensure the vehicle is repaired as required.
• Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing vehicles including oil changes, lubrications, engine tune-ups, filters, brakes, clutches, timing belts and basic electrical equipment work.
• Replacing and repairing worn and defective parts by referring to service manuals for the type of vehicle as required.
• Testing and adjusting mechanical parts post-repair to ensure performance.
• Accurately completing all paperwork, in line with appropriate legislation and company policy
• Working safely; abiding by company policy in terms of housekeeping, public safety, working with hazardous materials, and securing the vehicle safely before commencing inspection or any work on the vehicle.
• Adhering to quality control & safety standards at all times.
• Following the correct procedures when carrying out warranty work.
• Accurately completing all paperwork, in line with appropriate legislation and company policy
• Keeping up to date with modern vehicles and the relevant systems, including the ability to run Diagnostics on modern vehicle systems, fit accessories, reprogramme computers or settings, etc.
• Identifying and repairing technical issues
• Identifying additional work as required
• Ability to work independently.
• Perform routine servicing, maintenance and inspections on electric vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical issues with electric vehicles and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Ensure that all electric vehicles meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections for each vehicle.
• Respond to emergency calls for vehicle breakdowns or accidents, providing timely assistance and repairs.
• Manage spare parts and equipment inventory needed for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Ensuring quotes are accurate and generate receipts for payments received by customers.

To be eligible to apply for this role you MUST possess the following:
• Qualified Mechanic Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology with at least 2 years of experience or a higher relevant qualification and at least 1 year of experience as a Mobile Motor Mechanic or Motor Mechanic
• The right to work in Australia (in the form of Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a valid Visa)
• Valid Driver’s licence
• A willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
• Excellent customer service skills with a desire to help people.

• Most of our clients have English as their second language and are from an Indonesian background; therefore, applicants who can interact in Indonesian will be given preference.
