General Nature of Work
Provide customer service to all guests, monitors guest while inside the facility area, and, assists with the cleanliness of facility area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor guests as they enter and exit the Splash Pad.
• Monitor guests during their utilization of splash pad and enforce safety rules and guidelines.
• Collect admission fees from patrons.
• Assist patrons with questions and/or concerns; assist in incidents and/or accidents.
• Assist other splash pad attendants with tasks as directed.
• Monitor facility for trash and debris and perform appropriate cleanup.
• Regularly check pool chemical levels and document readings.
• Assist coworkers and patrons with identifying and addressing other customer service concerns.
• Enforce established policy and procedures throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned
• Will have some cross training with the camp if needed

• Ability to handle customer service issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons and professional staff.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to monitor guests entering and exiting the aquatic facility.
• Ability to monitor guests while using pool slides.
• Ability to enforce safety rules and guidelines.
• Ability to assist patrons with concerns, questions and in the event of incidents and/or accidents.
• Ability to assist the Aquatic Supervisor and Lead Attendant with tasks as directed.
• Ability to monitor facility for trash and debris cleanup and to perform maintenance.
• Ability to ensure that facility space to include floors, deck, restrooms, etc., is kept clean.
• Ability to follow and enforce established policy and procedures throughout the facility.
• Ability to understand and demonstrate competencies outlined in Aquatic Facility Emergency Action Plan.
• Ability to assist coworkers and patron with identifying and addressing other customer service concerns.
• Applicant must be able to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Sunday, from May 26 through September 8 (Memorial Day- Labor Day).
• Applicant must be able to attend mandatory Splash Pad orientation/training sessions scheduled on Saturday, May 17 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MININUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 15 years of age; prior customer service experience; must be able to work independently; CPR/First Aid/AED Certified or be willing and able to obtain certification.
ADA Requirements: Individuals applying for the posted position must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Physical Requirements: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds).
Work Environment: Essential functions are regularly performed outside with exposure to the elements.
