Die Setter- Press Operator Pay Rate and Hours:

$15.50+ depending on experience

Monday - Friday, 7 am-4 pm

Die Setter- Press Operator Job Description:

Responsible for the setup and maintenance of our hydraulic presses used for the powdered metal parts pressing operation.

Must use the proper dies and tools and make all the necessary adjustments to ensure that the powdered metal parts meet all quality specifications.

Set up and maintain correct adjustments on several presses, ensure that the proper tools and dyes are placed into the press, perform an inspection of parts for cracks and chips, accomplish the set up promptly, and communicate changes/adjustments made to the presses.

Die Setter- Press Operator Skills:

Duties include loading furnace, unloading furnace, keeping and monitoring belt speed, temperature, and dew point, vibe loading vibe, unloading vibe, inspecting parts for flash and finish, drying parts, dipping parts in protective finish, housekeeping such as sweeping, and minor maintenance such as checking and changing lubricants.
