The Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing inventory levels and optimizing the replenishment processes through data management and analytics for all MedCare Equipment. They will evaluate past, current, and future demand to establish adequate inventory levels. Hybrid work option available with 2 days remote.
Job Duties / Essential Functions:
Review sales and purchasing trends to establish and update inventory levels in conjunction with purchasing and warehouse management.
Analyze inventory data and trends to ensure appropriate inventory levels.
Forecast demand and supply through identified trends.
Coordinate and perform inventory cycle counts.
Evaluate and investigate inventory discrepancies.
Identify and recommend short- and long-term inventory strategies.
Report and present work to purchasing and warehouse management.
Establish proactive communication channels and processes between purchasing, warehouse, and sales.
Place purchase orders as needed in coordination with Buyers and Purchasing Manager.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner.
Regular, consistent, and on-time attendance.
Maintains a tidy and orderly workplace
Completes quality work timely, accurately, and efficiently
Follow department policy regarding scheduling, breaks, start/quit time, properly notifies department supervisor when reporting off, early leave or late arrival.
Completes mandatory education timely.
Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
Skills / Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Management, Business, or related field is preferred
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
Previous experience with inventory, statistics, or purchasing preferred
Strong in data analytics and statistics.
Excellent professional verbal and written communication
Must maintain high level time management skills.
Independent thinking and decision-making ability
Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
Ability to formulate complex analysis and make decisions based on data.
Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
