Lower Lights Christian Health Center (LLCHC) transforms the overall health of Central Ohio, serving one individual at a time. We are focused on whole-person wellness, available to ALL in Central Ohio who need it, regardless of ability to pay! We served over 15,000 patients - with 40% being uninsured - and totaled 50,000+ medical encounters!
Operating out of seven locations, we offer medical care (primary care, dental, vision, OB/GYN, telehealth), behavioral health care, 340B pharmacy, nutritional assistance programs, and more. Working hours are Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday morning coverage.
JOB SUMMARY
Strategic leadership of IT and IT operations oversight and supervision
Electronic Health Record (EHR) support oversight and supervision of EHR Support Analysts.
Leads internal EHR Governance Committee, clinical technology strategy and change management initiatives
Vendor management of network infrastructure and phone system infrastructure including computer and network equipment, operating systems, and data center operations.
Procurement of new IT vendors and equipment that meet the organizational needs.
Operates as subject matter expert on LLCHC systems infrastructure and works closely with Senior Leadership on systems strategy enhancements.
Develops organizational policy, procedures and protocols related to IT, security and change management
DUTIES
RESPONSIBILITY 1. IT Leadership and Management
Coordinates, plans, and schedules day to day IT functions and customer support
Leadership and supervision of department including but not limited to performance management, staff development, departmental staffing etc.
Conducts need assessment and identifies new/replacement equipment requirements, coordinates with Chief Workforce Officer and Chief Financial Officer on inventory assessment and process for order placement and fulfillment.
Advise senior leadership on strategies to support the organizational strategic plan including evaluation of new technology to drive efficiency and achieve goals.
Successful leadership of information technology and EHR professionals to meeting the systems needs of the organization.
Plans and assists in the conduct of nightly and weekly server restarts and normal maintenance to insure optimal uptime and performance.
Develop and maintain a customer service request system for IT requests, prioritization and tracking.
Maintains network and PC preventive maintenance logging efforts to ensure network and data integrity.
Tracks and logs vendor requests to ensure resolution.
Monitors systems compliance and workflow compliance.
Coordinates, plans and schedules required technical and application systems upgrades and enhancements.
Develops organizational policy, procedures and protocols related to IT, security, and EHR governance.
Maintain phone/voicemail/afterhours call systems.
Works closely with OCHIN on EPIC systems updates and maintenance
RESPONSIBILITY 2. EHR Governance and Change Management
Develop, coordinate and implement effective change management procedures and protocols related to technology/EHR, EHR training, IT infrastructure and security.
Lead the EHR Governance Committee and ensure communication and roll-out of all EHR upgrades and changes.
Responsible for EHR optimization, training and customer support
Owns the relationship with OCHIN (hosts Epic), prioritizes JIRAs and escalates as needed.
Participates or leads workgroups with cross functional teams and ensures changes are communicated and implemented effectively.
Project manage and implement plans for telecommunication systems, IT infrastructure, hardware, etc. at new health centers.
Research, procure and roll-out new technology, vendor services and telecommunications.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from technical college and two (2) to five (5) years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior work experience in IT infrastructure support, endpoint vulnerability, security, and data protection.
Experience with electronic health records systems, preferably EPIC
Experience with AI applications in healthcare, preferred
Minimum of 3 years of prior supervisory experience
Minimum of 3 years of IT vendor management experience
Minimum of 2 years of project management or change management experience
