Responsibilities and Duties:

CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will produce quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating through part completion

CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will write, store, and retrieve programs for machining parts

CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will prioritize work orders for timely completion to accommodate customer needs

CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

CNC Lathe Programmer Operator Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and troubleshoot malfunctions

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

Run, set up, and program vertical & horizontals

G code knowledge

Skilled in programming and operating CNC Mazak Lathes.

Mazak controls

Nexus

Write programs in Mazatrol controller and store programs.

PC fusion 640m.

Able to read blueprints.

Strong math skills.

Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints and/or specifications in order to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.

Can use inspection equipment such as micrometers, depth mic’s, O.D. mic’s, thread gauges and calipers.
