At the heart of it, the worship ministry at Sugar Creek Baptist seeks to serve the church's mission to love and lead all people to life change in Christ." The Worship Leader/Production Associate will report to the Associate Worship Pastor and serve the Sugar Creek campus by leading worship as needed and liaising between the ministry's "worship" and "production" sides.
While this person does not supervise the production team, they will ensure that stage set-ups, designs, and AVL needs are accomplished with the production team.
This person will also be the conduit to the Communications department for any Worship Ministry needs related to video shoots, graphic design, and other communications needs.
This person should be a team player and serve alongside others in the worship ministry to help accomplish overall ministry goals.

On the production side, this person should have basic knowledge of AVL and stage layout and design to communicate effectively with the production team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AS A WORSHIP LEADER Plan all worship services assigned by the Worship Pastor.Fill in instrumentally as needed in the absence of rhythm players.Research and listen for new worship songs to be incorporated into the worship services.Coordinate and collaborate with worship leaders in writing new worship songs to be used in Sugar Creeks worship services.Oversee stage and platform design as assigned by the Worship Pastor.Responsible for research of creative elements (lighting/video/graphic elements) to enhance worship.Coordinate with the Tech and Communications Division for all lighting and video/graphic design for Worship Events and modern worship services.
