Expected work schedule for the HR Coordinator:
Full- or part-time, flexible schedule
Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific ministry needs
Annual Conferences such as the IFI Staff Retreat
Pay structure for a HR Coordinator:
Pay range is between $26,480 and $82,400, may include some support development, based on experience and other factors

HR Coordinator Responsibilities:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating key HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, and ministry staff relations. While this role supports the National team in Columbus, OH, candidates can be hired to work remotely.
Facilitate hiring and onboarding, retirement, and separation processes, including job postings, candidate communication, and system setup.
Manage HR and payroll software (Paylocity) to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, health, and retirement benefits.
Oversee state charity registrations, immigration paperwork, and workers' compensation compliance.
Provide performance assessment tools and guidance to supervisors.
Qualifications/expectations of the HR Coordinator:
Personal commitment to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies, as well as ECFA Standards practiced by IFI
Maintains high standards of confidentiality
Administratively competent, well organized, and experienced in managing multiple projects, with a broad set of goals
A self-starter, able to work independently, as well as be a team player
Exhibits a positive, professional manner
Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
Education/Experience Required for HR Coordinator:
Associate's degree or above, or comparable HR experience
Course work in human resources or demonstrated experience in HR capacity
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Cross-cultural experience is preferred
