Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business and nurturing ongoing client relationships within the tradeshow, event, and branded environment industries. This role involves leading, managing, and growing client accounts, overseeing project execution, and working closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding service. The Account Executive will also drive sales initiatives, contribute to the development of labor management solutions, and ensure clients view our company as a trusted partner for their future needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales / Account Management:
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients. Must be comfortable selling into all levels of an organization.
Develop and present compelling proposals, showcasing our company’s expertise in labor management for tradeshows, events, and branded environments.
Lead sales presentations and work closely with clients to ensure the solution aligns with their needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, effectively communicating their needs to internal teams and overseeing project delivery from start to finish.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.
Travel approximately 25-50% of the time to meet with prospects, manage client relationships, and oversee project execution.
Financial Management:
Forecast and track revenue opportunities, ensuring accurate resource planning and regular updates on client status.
Maintain up-to-date forecasting and budgeting information.
Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by adhering to company travel guidelines and managing costs effectively.
Monitor client accounts to ensure profitability and manage invoicing and payment collection processes.
Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of account professionals, ensuring effective delegation of responsibilities and maintaining strong client relationships.
Hire, train, and mentor team members, providing continuous feedback and support for professional growth.
Foster a positive, collaborative team culture and support the development of individual skills related to client service, sales, and project management.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university, or 4+ years of relevant experience in Sales or Account Management in the event or tradeshow industry.
Language Skills
Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, such as trade publications, technical procedures, and client correspondence.
Ability to write clear and persuasive reports, proposals, and business correspondence.
Strong verbal communication skills to present information effectively to clients, teams, and management.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise 1-3 team members within the Account Management Department. Responsibilities include hiring, training, managing performance, and resolving employee issues in line with company policies.
