Colorado International Language Academy (CILA) is a tuition-free, international charter school serving students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We offer a 50% language immersion model in Spanish, German, and Mandarin Chinese, where students learn math, language literacy, and cultural understanding in both English and a target language.

Position Overview:
CILA is seeking a responsible and safety-minded School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school and special events in a safe and timely manner. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our students each day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely transport students over scheduled routes and to/from school-related activities and field trips.
Assist students with seating, securing restraints, and using specialized equipment as needed.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required safety logs and documentation.
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the bus (interior and exterior).
Monitor and maintain order among students during transit.
Administer first aid when necessary and follow all emergency procedures.
Report safety concerns, student behavior issues, or maintenance needs to the school administration.
Follow all applicable state and federal laws, as well as CDE and school transportation regulations.
Prepare and submit mileage reports, incident/accident reports, and behavior documentation as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid CDL with (Passenger) and (School Bus) endorsements.
Valid Medical Examiners Certificate.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to pass background and drug screenings.
Experience transporting elementary-aged children (K5) is preferred.
Familiarity with state and federal transportation regulations and inspection procedures required.
Availability to work split shifts: approximately 5:30 AM8:00 AM and 2:00 PM5:30 PM (Additional contracted hours may be available.)
